Norlense was founded in 1975 in Fiskebøl, Northern Norway. The company’s development accelerated in 1977 following the Ecofisk Bravo oil platform accident, which created an urgent need for effective oil spill containment solutions. Since then, Norlense has become one of the global leaders in oil spill response equipment.
