These rifles combine reliability, customizability, and modern design. Developed to enhance the well-known AR-15 and AR-10 platforms, they feature a patented hybrid gas system that ensures smooth operation and easy maintenance—even under intensive use. The barrel, bolt, and adjustable gas block are all based on the AR system, ensuring familiarity and wide compatibility with existing spare parts.
- The modular design allows for a variety of configurations and full compatibility with AR-platform components such as magazines, trigger mechanisms, and accessories. The buttstock is equipped with an FN SCAR mounting interface, folds to the side, is length-adjustable, and includes an adjustable cheek rest.
- The handguard features multiple M-LOK attachment points, and the upper receiver includes a dual-level NATO-standard Picatinny rail for broad accessory and sight compatibility. The charging handle can be configured for left- or right-side operation, and all critical controls are ambidextrous.
Calibers and compatibility
- The Perun X-16 is chambered in .223 REM (5.56×45 mm) and can be adapted to various AR-15 compatible calibers including .300 BLK, 6 ARC, 6.5 Grendel, and 7.62×39 mm.
- The Perun X-17 is chambered in .308 WIN (7.62×51 mm) and is compatible with AR-10 platform calibers such as 6.5 Creedmoor.
