The Taurus TX9 Full is a full-size 9×19 mm striker-fired semi-automatic pistol combining a modular design, 114 mm barrel and 17-round magazine.
The Taurus TX9 Full is the full-size model of the TX9 series, designed for duty, personal defense and competition shooting. Its 114 mm barrel, full-size grip module and 17-round magazine provide a balanced combination of handling, capacity and control.
The TX9 features the Taurus Modular System with a serialized stainless steel firearm frame that accepts interchangeable Full Size, Compact and Sub Compact polymer grip modules. The serialized firearm frame remains the same when changing the grip module. Four interchangeable backstraps allow the grip to be adapted to the shooter’s hand.
The pistol is suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters, featuring an ambidextrous slide release and reversible magazine catch. Industry-standard dovetails provide compatibility with a range of aftermarket iron sights. The factory configuration includes a removable white-dot front sight and a drift-adjustable rear sight.
The TX9 Full is Optics Ready and uses the Taurus T.O.R.O. optics mounting system for compatible red dot sights.
The pistol uses 17-round magazines and two magazines are included. Safety features include a firing pin block and trigger safety.
