The Rossi Ranger Sporter is based on the durable and widely used Remington 700 platform. Its cold hammer-forged 24” (610 mm) medium-profile carbon steel barrel supports sub-MOA accuracy and provides reliable performance even at longer distances
The .308 Winchester is a widely used and proven caliber known for its strong performance, enabling accurate shots at longer distances in both hunting and sport shooting. The barrel length of this model is optimized to deliver the ideal muzzle velocity for the .308 Winchester cartridge.
The weapon uses the widely used interchangeable AICS-type magazines
The black Cerakote finish provides excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. Both the receiver and the barrel are made from durable carbon steel.
The rifle features a stainless steel bolt with spiral fluting to reduce friction and weight. The spring-loaded extractor ensures reliable case ejection even when the bolt is operated slowly. At the rear of the bolt, a red-dot indicator allows the user to visually or tactically confirm whether the firing pin is cocked. The safety lever is located on the right rear side of the receiver, allowing convenient thumb operation without changing the firing grip. The three-lug bolt with a 60° bolt lift ensures smooth, fast, and efficient cycling.
The Rossi Ranger Sporter features a lightweight polymer stock with an ergonomic design. The barrel is free-floated, helping to improve accuracy and reduce the effects of vibration. The stock also includes a raised cheek rest for improved shooting comfort and better alignment with the optic.

For sport shooters and hunters
The Sporter stock provides a stable and quiet solution also suitable for hunting. A Picatinny or ARCA rail mounted in the M-LOK slots allows the rifle to be attached to a tripod, increasing stability for longer shots. Smooth surfaces on the sides of the forend enable the use of clamps for secure mounting to a tripod. The forend also features a mounting point for Spartan Precision bipods.
The rifle is supplied with two 5-round magazines.
